Intimate West Village Wedding, NYC

Chelsea & Joey

Chelsea & Joey had the most perfect intimate wedding on a sunny day in September. They were joined by a small group of family and friends at one of their favorite restaurants, Palma, in the West Village, which provided the sweetest floral backgrounds and natural light for their ceremony. We took their portraits on the historic and charming Washington Mews, and then in Washington Square Park. It was the perfect event for Chelsea, the New York native, and Joey, the southern boy from North Carolina. Vintage with just the right amount of charm. Wishing these two all the best in their next adventure.

Tegan & Saish

What an amazing day with these two and a once in a lifetime opportunity to shoot two wedding ceremonies in one day! Both Teghan and Saish work as lawyers in NYC but they chose to get married in beautiful Boulder, CO where Teghan went to school. With the beautiful mountains as a backdrop, and the hip vibe of the town, they embarked on a seriously epic day. Saish, being first generation American wanted to honor his Indian heritage by having an abbreviated but traditional Indian ceremony in the AM. It was so interesting symbolic gestures in the ceremony as his sister narrated every step of the way. Then we had a small break to take some portraits of the couple around the streets of Boulder. But that wasn't it! They also had a beautiful western ceremony in the courtyard of the Saint Julien Hotel. The night ended with plenty of dancing (especially to the Spice Girls) and lots of stories of the couple's long history and many laughs. Best of luck to heir couple as they head back to NYC to continue their journey together.

Laid Back Brooklyn Wedding in the backyard of a Brooklyn Restaurant

Hisa & Brett

Hisa and Brett were the most laid back couple and their wedding matched their vibe. Hisa, a graphic designer, asked for clean lines and graphic imagery, so it was perfect that they chose such a beautiful brownstone in Prospect Heights to get ready. The couple wanted to be non-traditional so they got ready in the same space, but as usual, the first look was quite special when Hisa descended the white stairs. Their ceremony was intimate in the backyard of a local restaurant, which was perfect for the early spring. Had so much fun capturing this wedding and I wish the couple all the best.

Ty & Kit

Ty and Kit travelled to NYC from North Carolina where Ty surprised Kit and popped the question in Central Park. The beautiful fall foliage and unseasonably warm weather created such a perfect backdrop to document their sweet love story.

Beth & Abir

Courthouse ceremony in downtown NYC on Friday the 13th. Beth and Abir are dear friends and I loved getting be there for them as they tied the knot.

William & Ryan

I was honored to shoot some engagement portraits of two amazingly talented friends around my studio in Bushwick Brooklyn. William works in fashion and Ryan is a hairstylist to the stars. I loved getting to bring their vision to life and document the beginning of their love story. Congrats William and Ryan!
